I am currently using Wordpress with Woocommerce. My shop sells printables. However, right now I product the customizable printables after I receive the input through a Gravity form.

Here's how I would like it to work: I produce templates (pdf?) in which some of the fields can be customized. Upon completion of customization and after check/out, payment is received and the customized product (pdf?) is mailed to the customer.

Can someone tell me if this is possible with FancyProductDesigner?

That is in general possible through virtual products, yes. Available formats are .jpg, .png and with some limitations .pdf.
