I have recently installed Fancy Product Designer and I have a few questions on how to setup some things right. I have been trying to solve these issues with the help of the documentation and forum but had no luck yet.
1. I would like the customer to add just one image to the product. I have set the Replace name same as the elements name, but it has no effect. It still imports more images placing them on top of others. And the copy button in the upper left corner should be removed.
2. custom images should be auto-scaled to the print area (dotted line) so that customers don't have to resize it everytime they load a new.
3. custom images should be cropped to the print area (dotted line) if they are scaled larger.
4. set transparency of loaded images to 90% (or simliar) so that customers can still see the "background" and make sure it fits. It would make everything look a bit more realistic too.
5. Getting images from Instagram works great but only shows the last 12 posts. Why?
I'd appreciate if anyone has hints or could point me in the right direction.

-> therefore you have different options. You can p.e. go to your woocommerce product -> click on individual product settings -> go to image properties -> set a value for resize to width / height/ max -width or height OR create a bounding box in your product and select the mode "clipping" so the image will be enlargened to fit the box (recommended depending on your product).
3. custom images should be cropped to the print area (dotted line) if they are scaled larger.
-> same as above (bounding box clipping mode)
4. set transparency of loaded images to 90% (or simliar) so that customers can still see the "background" and make sure it fits. It would make everything look a bit more realistic too.
-> you can set transparency of the background to 10% and mark as "stay on top"

I can't get the clipping to work properly. Please see attached screenshot - sorry it's in german, but I guess you know what is what.
There's two options: "begrenzungsbox" what I guess is "bounding box" and "druckbereich" (printing area).
I don't know what the difference is and neither of them make any difference when adding an image, no matter what I set there. You can see that the option "print area" is disabled. It used to be enabled but it is disabled for a reason I don't know. Annoying.
Anyhow, I can almost live with that. About the transparency: I can also set a background for the UI, but I cannot find a transparency option nor an option to let the background stay on top. I only see an options to set the layer ("ebene" in screenshot) always on top, but that's not what I want.
Overall, I found it very hard to setup. Any help is appreciated.
Oh, one more question. When the user adds an image and has it selected, there's two small boxes below them "transform" and "position". Is there a way to remove them? I would like to have the product designer as simple as possible. Thank you.

I guess you're german so i'll answer in german. If not, please let me know.
Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten. Du kannst z.B. ein Bild in den Product Builder hochladen (z.B. eine rechteckiges, transparentes png) und dieses "Base" benennen. Dieses Bild kannst du genau an den Bereich anpassen, der als "Designfläche" genutzt werden soll.
Unter: Fancy Product Designer -> Settings -> Custom Images and Designs -> musst du (falls es nicht bereits so dort steht), folgende Änderungen eintragen:
"Use Another Element As Bounding Box?" -> aktivieren
Bounding Box Target: Base
Bounding Box Mode: Clipping
Der Druckbereich ist der Bereich, der exportiert wird, wenn du die Admin Solution verwendest. Nutzt du die Admin Version nicht, wird das gesamte Canvas exportiert.
Wenn du ein Bild im Product Builder hinzufügst, kannst du auf "Colors" klicken und Opacity zu z.B. 0,1 setzen (Transparenz 10%). Unter "Modifications" kannst du stay on top aktivieren.

Die Toolbar kannst du entfernen, indem du folgenden Code im UI Composer einfügst:

Zusatzfrage: Instagram läuft, allerdings kann ich nur die aktuellsten 12 Bilder sehen.
Liegt das an der Sandbox oder ist das generell so limitiert?

Du kannst die Farbe nur von den Bildformaten png und svg verändern. Ich nehme an, dass du eine jpg Datei hochgeladen hast. Konvertiere das Bild vorher als png und lade es erneut hoch.
Für Instagram öffne bitte ein Support Ticket.

ich hätte noch eine Frage ... im Anhang ein Bild. Ich würde an der Stelle gern einen Hilfetext setzen.
Danke, klappt. Allerdings ... der Trick mit den 10% und "Always on top" geht zwar, aber es blockiert das Selektieren vom hochgeladenen Bild. Logisch, weil ja der Layer immer der oberste ist. Oder gibts da noch eine Option, die ich übersehen habe?

Du kannst "Stay on top" "locked" und "layer position unlockable" aktivieren, dann sollte es funktionieren.

Sorry, aber ich finde FPD unglaublich kompliziert in der Anwendung bzw. in den Einstellungen.
Die PDF, die FPD im Backend generiert sind von übler Qualität und so natürlich nicht für den Druck zu gebrauchen. Ich verstehe nicht, warum ich da ein zusätzliches Plugin installieren und mich nochmal anmelden muss, aber egal - jetzt bin ich bis hierhin gekommen und will jetzt nicht aufgeben. Hoffe natürlich, dass ich dann auch brauchbare Druckvorlagen bekomme...
Am einfachsten ist es, den Text "Klick oder Bilder hierhin ziehen" zu ändern. Gehe dazu zu
Fancy Product Designer -> Settings -> Labels -> modules -> upload zone -> änder den Text

Stimmt, aber das Feld ist nicht wirklich groß.
Sonst eine Idee? Ich könnte das DIV dort auch beim Initialisieren füllen ...

Es scheint vielleicht auch deshalb kompliziert, weil wir sehr viele Funktionen anbieten, die es bei anderen Product Designer Lösungen nicht gibt.
In der Admin Lösung musst du einen Account erstellen, das hat nichts mit dem bereits vergebenen Passwort zu tun. Die Technik, die wir für den Export im Admin Bereich verwenden, kann nur auf unseren Servern bereitgestellt werden, daher ist die Anmeldung erforderlich.

Danke, verstehe. Ich lese gerade, dass mich der Spaß ab November nochmal extra Geld kostet. Ich habe also einen Produktdesigner gekauft, der auf meiner Plattform keine ordentlichen Druckvorlagen generieren kann. Oder will. Also ohne zusätzliche Ausgaben unbrauchbar ist. Ich kann schon verstehen, dass ihr Geld verdienen müsst. Ich kann aber nicht verstehen, warum das nicht vorher vernünftig kommuniziert wird. :-(

Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten. Du kannst z.B. ein Bild in den Product Builder hochladen (z.B. eine rechteckiges, transparentes png) und dieses "Base" benennen. Dieses Bild kannst du genau an den Bereich anpassen, der als "Designfläche" genutzt werden soll.

REST Api installiert, Passwort vergeben, okay. Ich kann mich allerdings nicht unter https://admin.fancyproductdesigner.com/dashboard einloggen: Login forbidden.
