Reset Button removes layers

I've set-up a tee-shirt, which consists of a few layers, Base, Shadow and Text.

If you click on the shirt, the color selector pops up. It has a color button and a reset button.

If you click the RESET button, all the layers disappear from the canvas, leaving only the Base layer.

I have all the layers locked in the designer.

Is there a way to make this stop happening?
