Possibility to insert an image in WEBP using the uploader in the FPD editor on the front-end

Hi,
Would it be possible to include in the development to insert an image in WEBP using the uploader in the FPD editor on the front-end?
The suggestion of solution: An uploaded image in WEBP format would be converted in PHP to JPG format immediately after uploading, which is then usable normally in the process without other technical restrictions.
This option would be very useful as people download and then paste this format very often these days.
