On our product detail pages, the start customizing button shows up below all the selections for size and color. So, the natural flow of things has a customer selecting the size and color they want first and then click the start customizing button. However, when the FPD stage opens, it doesn't start with the color that the person selected before clicking the start customizing button, it just opens with whatever the first color for the FPD product was. 

Is there a way to get the FPD to open up with the product in the color that was selected? It seems like there should be a way to connect a color choice with how the FPD stage opens. 

There is currently no way of doing this. Please make a new entry in the feature request forum.
